La Hougue Bie

View east from the "sanctuary" area c1924.

The northern side chamber entrance is visible left, slab 39 is still lying in front of the chamber, and the chamber
lacks the extra front slab that now exists. The large stone visible above slab 39 is the "back" of the cup marked stone.
Two of the three chamber segmenting stones are visible, one centre shot and one far right.

This image is taken from an old postcard and the only information is that written on the image itself, so we do not know the
date the photo was taken;  given the state of the chamber interior, it is likely to have been taken very shortly after the1924 discovery.
