The inner face of a stone in the SE arc of
the circle.
The markings here are very faint, the outer circle of a supposed four ring
concentric motif is visible to the right of the stone, just above and to the
right of this are three groves of a four ring concentric arc, and the barest
trace of a similar set of arcs is visible above and left of the central rings.
The layout of the three components is said to resemble the outline of the head
of Mickey Mouse! A double incised grove can be seen running left from the bottom
of the motif across much of the lower part of the stone. Just below the main
motif are said to be four chevrons, but these are buried in undergrowth in the
above photo.
Being on the inner face of the ring, these carvings would have been concealed
under the mound of the cairn, this arrangement is a common feature of rock art
on cairn kerbs, as is the situation of the carving in the S-E arc of the
circle.
Unless you are very lucky with the lighting conditions, we doubt that any of the
above features would normally be visible.
