The extensively restored site viewed from the NE.
The entire mound and virtually all of the
retaining stonework to the right of the entrance is modern restoration that
followed
the 1932 re-excavation by Collum and Mond (3). The
larger kerb
stones which can just be seen on the southern side (left)
are original. The view here is along the
passage/chamber axis and the diameter of the mound
is around 20m.
