View NE along the entire tomb axis.
This shot was taken hard against the rear
wall and shows the passage and chamber shape that is typical of some
Channel Island Passage Graves. The plan of these structures shows a
"flask" shape which is particularly noticeable
in
the photo above, the walls of the main chamber curving in to meet the "neck" of
the passage.
This shot also shows that free standing stone in the chamber does not meet the
roof, originally it did, serving as a
support for the carved second capstone. Note the
famous face of the carved roof stone upper centre.
