The front southern side space (E).
Although not listed as a side chamber
proper in any of the plans we saw for the tomb, this space is actually better
appointed than the northern front side chamber (B), which is a mirror opposite of
this. There is a paved floor, several
original orthostats making up the walls, and it is partially roofed by an
original roof slab.
This space may only be an artefact of the restoration process, but it appeared
more convincing as a chamber
than its counterpart.
