The northern chamber.
The chamber is constructed using five large slabs with the spaces between filled
with walling, the slab centre shot above is the western one.
In contrast to a large portion of the monument as a whole, the walls and chamber slabs seen
here are original and undisturbed up to a height of about 1.5m.
The chamber was found intact in 1866, the walls corbelling out from about 1.2m
up to 2m where the roof was capped with a small slab.
