Camster Long

The northern chamber.
The chamber is constructed using five large slabs with the spaces between filled with walling, the slab centre shot above is the western one.
In contrast to a large portion of the monument as a whole, the walls and chamber slabs seen here are original and undisturbed up to a height of about 1.5m.
The chamber was found intact in 1866, the walls corbelling out from about 1.2m  up to 2m where the roof was capped with a small slab.
