Camster Long

Outer chamber portal stones.
The end of the passage through the round cairn is visible in the foreground as is the outer edge of the northern antechamber portal
stone (right). The outer edges of the main chamber portal stones behind frame the backslab and its side slabs.
It is interesting to note that all of the fully exposed portal stone surfaces are not visible from the passage or the antechamber itself. The monument
is built so that the "display" surfaces of the portals and backstone are only fully visible together from one location - the centre of the main chamber.
