Looking back through the chamber structure and along the length of the entire passage.
Note how all of the fully exposed portal stone faces are visible here.
The inner portals are huge stones, both at least 2 metres tall, dwarfing the 1.1 metre tall portals of the antechamber visible behind them.
Note how none of the portals stones directly support any roof lintels. The side walls can be seen to corbel in as they rise, the original
internal height of chamber is unknown as the roof was missing in 1866, but it was at least 2.3 metres.
