Croft Moraig from the SSW looking over the
prostrate cup-marked stone in the foreground.
The inner "horseshoe" ring of stones can be seen in the centre of the
site, its stones are graded
in height toward its open end which we are looking into. A small outer marker
stone from this
phase stands in the centre of the shot to the right of the large fallen stone.
The final phase of construction is the large, all encompassing, embanked stone circle.
To the far right of the photo (east), can be seen the outlying entrance stones
to the final phase circle, one standing and one fallen.
