The outer end of the entrance passage roofing.
In common with the inner section of the passage, the outer only employs flat-laid roof stones at its very end. Two large flat-laid slabs are visible here
and sectional drawings show a third above them bridging the gap. This is probably the flat stone centre shot, but this is obscured by chock
stone protruding out from the walling on each side.
