Dalcross mains viewed from the East.
Although these trees are lovely, they really made photographing the site
difficult!
The cairn was built on top of what was originally a ridge, but ploughing to the
NE and South, plus quarrying to the East and NW have
served to create the little "hillock" we see here. The outer kerbs are visible
centre shot and the two circle stones are far right,
the erect pillar to the left of the trunk and the fallen to the right.
