The two tall stones visible far right are the only surviving members of the stone circle that once surrounded Daviot.
The large block centre right is the biggest stone in the surviving outer kerb and this is directly opposite the tallest circle stone. Emphasis on the SW is an enduring trait of Clava monuments
 and these two would have been the tallest and most massive members of their respective circles.
