Grain Earth house

The main chamber from the south.
The chamber roof is supported by these four slender stone uprights. Large stone beams project out from the walls and are supported on their ends by the four
uprights, these beams bear two further stone beams to complete the span of the roof. Fantastically elegant architecture that has survived well over a thousand
years.
