Heights of Brae

Both compartments of the southern chamber.

Unfortunately the remains of the outer compartment (left foreground above) are hidden in a dense growth of heather and gorse, so there was no way
for us to photograph it in any meaningful way :O( The two small stones centre shot are the duplicate portal stones at the end of the outer compartment.
We have put ranging pole (2m) above in the access passageway between the two chambers, people would have had to crawl through this narrow gap
to reach the interior of the inner compartment, presumably the most important space in the structure.
