Heights of Brae

Inner compartment of the southern chamber.
This chamber had typical Orkney-Cromarty structure, with multiple pairs of opposing stones segmenting it s length. The two stones on the right formed the
end of the chamber and the two left were the portal stones, entry was between these.
The situation of the cairn gives tremendous panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, part of this vista can be seen above.
