A distant shot of Killin from the NNW.
Possibly the best preserved of the Perthshire six-stone circles, it is certainly
the most visually attractive
today, standing in its almost manicured parkland setting.
The circle is height graded to the SW (right), but notice how this grading is
expressed entirely by the smaller stones
in the foreground, the three tall stones in the background are all about the
same height.
