As you can see from the above photo, the
field containing Mains of Hatton was in crop during our visit and this was as
close as we could get, so no pans or measurements, sorry :-(
It is pretty obvious that no stones of any height remain erect, and we
suspect that the two large supine stones visible in the uncultivated ring are
the fallen recumbent and a flanker. We roughly estimated the orientation of
these stones as just west of south, which would fit.
