This is the view along the entrance passage
of Cuween Hill from the main chamber.
Although the Wideford Hill cairn is not centred in the field, there are only a
few degrees of azimuth here,
so the chance of this being a random alignment is low.
Cuween is only 5km from Wideford, and both are Maes Howe type cairns that were
built by people sharing
the same traditions.
