Wideford Hill

The entrance passage from the WNW.

The passage seems to be original, it runs for 5.3m and is roofed by large lintel stones at about 70cm. The main width is 60cm, but it widens out to 70cm
within the cairn core, where it also curves to the north.
Today, the passage is blocked by a grille, just visible in the above photo, entry is now through the roof of the main chamber via a metal ladder.
