The only stone of the circle that is not totally fallen.
Stone 31, seen here jutting upwards to the right is taken as proof that the stone circle here was originally upright. This idea is supported by the radial
arrangement of the stones which would be their expected fall position and also by the presence of seven stumps where upright  stones have been broken off.
