Brane

Note the vegetation concealing the gap between the chamber side-slab and the kerb
on the eastern side. We suspected there was once a side-slab there in a corresponding position to the
the one at the west, perhaps giving the outer passage an angle to the chamber.
Unfortunately, Borlase's plan of Brane from 1872 (above), seems to suggest that the entire
western side of the entrance is a modern reconstruction.
