Leacet Hill

A high level view of the circle from the west.
The original compass of the circle and its internal cairn can just be deduced from this photo.
Published accounts mention two stones about 50cm high which should stand between the wall
and the two largest stones of the ring. As can be seen from this photo, there are no stones of that
height at the indicated positions today. Given the obvious forestry activity at the site it may be that
the two small stones have been buried since the survey of 1881.
