West Lanyon Quoit

The Quoit viewed from the SW.
This slab was over 3m across, and there was no way to see how much more of it lay buried.
Early antiquarian accounts identify this slab as the slipped capstone, but it was discovered in
this position when the covering mound was removed, so it is unclear if it was ever in place
above the chamber.
