Le Dehus

Globular vase.

This vase is of dark red-brown ware that has been burnished on the outside. In form it
has an everted lip, hollowed neck and stepped shoulder. It was discovered during the Lukis'
excavation in side-chamber A (mid-northern chamber). Height 14.7cm.

Note the Lukis series number under the rim, this appears to be "CXIII" yet Kendrick (5)
lists this as "CXLI", his plate of the vase does seem to show "CXLI" although the numerals are not too
clear. Whatever the explanation for the disparity, our photo definitely does not show "CXLI".
