Le Dehus

Tanged copper knife, length 12.7cm.

Although there is some doubt about original find location of this knife, it is generally accepted
as coming from the passage grave interior.
Lukis writes, "in filling up the western chamber there was a small piece of bronze seen in the surface-earth
near the props on the north side. This had more the appearance of a recent or accidental relic than one
appertaining to the age of the other finds."
This is generally interpreted as meaning that the knife was found in the material that Lukis was using to
backfill his excavation, therefore it must have originally been dug from the interior,
although the exact location is unknown.
