A high level view of the inner apses and altar.

Both of the inner apses can be seen in this shot, like the outer pair they are fairly symmetrical.
The axial altar slab is supported on pillars (the centre two of which are modern), and is
flanked by tall upright slabs. Note the way that the paving of the inter-apse doorway ends as it
 enters the apse area. The porthole doorway to the intramural chamber of the southern apse is
just visible lower far left.
