Another multiple stone circle, Carrigagulla is thought to have had seventeen stones originally, we counted fifteen standing, plus the central stone, two fallen stones lie at the south. As usual, the portals are the tallest stones at just under a metre, the remaining stones are low, and graded in height down to the customary low wide axial stone at the SW. The portal stones are set radially to the circle, and the "central" stone lies on the portal/axial stone axis. Several of the circle stones are flat topped, the two stones at the SE appear almost cubical.
