We were horrified to learn that the pile of large stones in the foreground of
this shot was not
debris from the wedge tomb, but was in fact a dismantled stone circle.
A stone circle once stood close to the wedge tomb, but this was destroyed
when the stones were
uprooted in the1950s and dumped onto the tomb remains.
