The massive lintel assembly over the gallery entrance.
The lintel here is composed of two stones, the lower of which is 3.1m long. Although the lintel stones
are arranged with their flat front surfaces aligned and facing outward, the upper stone has a very
irregular plan and appears quite uneven when viewed from above or behind.
The entrance was thought to have been sealed by a large neatly shaped rectangular block
which was found lying at the front of the gallery, this was broken up and removed during the excavation.
