Auchquhorthies

A high level view of Auchquhorthies from the SE.
This view shows both the outer and inner ring-cairn kerbs, both sets of stones are edge-set and would have been contiguous.
Although the eastern flanker is missing and there has been disturbance in that area, it is likely that the outer kerb would have
curved outwards to meet the flanker as it does on the western side.
Note the section of the recumbent here seen side-on, it resembles a chisel or knife edge, we have noticed that many recumbents
seem to have been selected and positioned to have a particularly flat outer face.
