Auchquhorthies

Auchquhorthies from the south at ground level.
The two nearest circle stones (western fallen, left foreground) are shorter than the height grading of the circle would require.
They are linked to the two flanker positions by rows of small stones forming a trapezoidal "forecourt" in front of the recumbent.
Note the almost unbroken semicircle of ring-cairn kerbs immediately left of the western flanker.
