Auchquhorthies

Auchquhorthies from the SSE.
The circle stone in the left centre above is the eastern member of a pair that framed the recumbent and flankers, forming
a "forecourt" structure in front of these stones. Note how this stone is shorter than the next circle stone far right, an anomaly
if the usual height grading of  the circle stones was applied. Behind the stone the curve of outer ring-cairn kerbs runs away
from the recumbent to the north.
