A view NW over the centre of the circle.
The stones in the centre and foreground are the remaining inner kerbs of the
ring-cairn, the centre three showing how they were
edge set and tightly contiguous. The best preserved stretch of the outer kerb is
visible behind.
It has been suggested that the stone circle was comprised of alternating high and low
stones, one of these surviving pairs is visible centre
background, to the left of this only tall stones survive, and to the right, only
the short.
