Camster Round

The facade and entrance.
The characteristic flattened facade is revealed for most of its width here. It is constructed of good quality dry stone work which has been set to
slope downwards away from either side of the entrance. The south edge (left) of the entrance has an upright slab set flush with the passage walling
whilst the northern edge is a simple return of the dry stone work. Although the passage was unpaved, a single slab was found paving the entrance,
presumably the one visible there above.
