The recumbent and flankers from the north.

The recumbent has fallen inwards and presently seems to be supported by small stones at each side.
3.1m long and weighing around 24tons, the recumbent is a substantial stone, it is made of a grey granite
which is quite distinct from the local red granite of the circle stones.
