We arrived at Logie Newton at the end of the day just as a tremendous downpour was starting, so we just had time to grab one spherical panorama before all was under water! There are three circles at Logie Newton along a 43m line, the ENE circle (5.6m dia), central (6.9m dia) and WSW (6.4m dia). We are ashamed to say that we have no idea which one is the subject of our panorama, our scientific objectivity was quickly dissolved by the cloudburst. Although the circle stones are small and low they are comprised of brilliant white quartz and would probably be very impressive............... in the dry.
