Taversoe Tuick

The space beneath the shelf in the western end cell.
One of the few places in the lower chamber where the natural bedrock is exposed. This can be seen at the rear of the space where it forms a
ledge to support the rear of the shelf slab and at the left, although supplementary stones are used to support the shelf here.
The two vertical portal slabs are just visible in the upper corners, note how the southern slab (left) does not extend down to floor level, it rests instead
on the bedrock ledge there.
We were surprised to discover that a roll of masking tape had found its way in here, not, we suspect, an original deposit ;O)
