Tomnaverie recumbent stone circle - 2005

A high level view looking North across the circle.
The concentric positions of the outer kerb stones of the ring-cairn to the circle stones is visible
in the eastern arc, (right). Note the two small stones beside the eastern flanker, the original kerbs
of the ringcairn were demolished in the area around the recumbent when the circle was built. The
kerb was reformed to link to the recumbent and flankers and these two stones are part of this remodelling.
A second pair of small stones exist in complimentary positions on the western side of the recumbent.
