There are no circle stones in the north west quadrant, this gap runs from the
large stone right foreground,
anticlockwise to the recumbent and flankers. The two circle stones in this section
have fallen prey to the quarrying
activities that encroached so closely on the circle in this area, only the outer
kerbs of the ring cairn survive here.
