Tomnaverie recumbent stone circle - 1999

Tomnaverie in July 1999 viewed from the south west. The bright white material is fibreglass matting under the topsoil
which is both protecting previously excavated layers, and helping to make the site look like a rubbish tip.
Four erect circle stones are visible with stone 4 fallen in the foreground, just beyond the fallen stone are the outer kerbs of
ring-cairn. On the far side of the circle is the displaced recumbent with the fallen eastern flanker to its left.
