Floor of southern end compartment.
Like the northern compartment, this area has a sill stone set between the
segmenting slabs. Unlike the southern compartment,
some of the partial stone flooring has survived. There was also a row of edge
set slabs running down the centre of the space
between the sill stone and the back slab.
