Roof of northern chamber.
The roof stone here is 2m above the floor. and this photo illustrates just how effective the corbelling is, only a small roof slab is needed to cap the roof.
The roofing here is said to be original, but Petrie describes the closing slabs as being "stones placed on edge" and this is clearly a flat slab.
