Wideford Hill

 

Eastern side-chamber roof structure.
The roof stone here is 1.9m above the floor. The upper rectangular section shows none of the "twisting" effect seen in the other side-chamber roofs.
Petrie made first entry to the cairn interior by removing the roof slab and some of the walling but could not access the main chamber as the passage
was blocked.
