Mnajdra - Temple 2

Both outer apses can be seen in this shot, note the limited paving restricted to the doorway and right-hand
niche. The stones on either side of the portal uprights have suffered major damage since the 1960's, the left
 stone has lost its top half and the right stone has lost its upper outer quarter so that the large hole that pierces
this slab is now open. We suspect this may have something to do with the absence of a large block that was
once positioned high above the north (left), side of the entrance, its fall has obviously caused damage.

The porthole doorway to the intramural room is visible on the left beside one of the "oracle" holes, the
second hole is partially visible far left.
