The doorway to the rear intramural room.
This massively constructed doorway is
set in the angle where the rear walls of Temple 3 (left),
and Temple 2 meet, it is the only access to the rear intramural chamber set into
the wall of Temple 2.
The chamber communicates with the outer northern apse of Temple 2 via an
"Oracle Hole", one of
two found in that apse. The large slab that can be seen through the doorway is a
walling slab of
the apse and the inner opening of the oracle hole can just be seen peeping above the floor
level.
