Mnajdra - Temple 3

The inner northern apse.

The axial altar is on the left and the inter-apse doorway is to the right.
As with the outer apses, the height of the upright slabs forming the apse are much lower than those of
Temple 2, although they are topped with two good courses of nicely finished corbels.
This apse seemed to have suffered from erosion more than any of the others in the temple, this can be
seen in the photo above on the left (northern) quadrant. Click here for a close-up of the damage.
