The inner face of the western flanker.

Vegetation hides a shallow ledge that runs across the bottom of this stone, a little of it can just be seen on the right.
Fred Coles (2) believed this was the result of a flat slab being quarried off this stone.
Note the large elliptical white quartz inclusion in the centre of this stone, this is a very prominent feature when standing
in the circle interior.
