The most striking feature is of course, the standing stone, this has been worked so as to have an almost circular section. Free standing stones within tombs are very rare and the few other examples in the UK and Eire all have square sections.
Happily, the graffiti merchants seem to have restricted their efforts to decorating the modern roof support beams.
